You should know that Janet Ruffolo is NOT your ordinary designer! She is an incredibly talented, patient designer who seems to read minds. When we began working together, Janet suggested several ways we could rearrange items we already owned. She created a whole new look to our main living area. From that moment, we were captivated and thrilled with the "magic" that Janet worked in our home. 

Janet listened carefully to both my husband and me--and our very different perspectives. Then, at our next appointment, she arrived and presented us with choices galore, having beautifully combined our ideas. Fabric samples, paint samples, sketches, and photos were gathered together for us to look at and consider in the comfort of our home. In addition, she suggested places we could shop. There is nothing like working with such a talented person when you're looking for that perfect item--an area rug, a painting, or fabric for pillows. Janet's creativity is endless! Her attention to detail is fabulous! And most important, she has the ability to visualize the end result. 

Our home has been wonderfully transformed and we have had the pleasure of working with Janet! She is high energy, friendly, flexible, and enthusiastic in everything she does. You can count on her expertise and quality of service to exceed your expectations! Janet is truly "one-in-a-million!"

I am writing to share my delight with the services of Janet Ruffolo of "Interiors by Janet." She went beyond our expectations, as she was able to anticipate and handle problems we had not expected. Her expertise and organization skills were a great benefit to us. Janet provided an evaluation of our furnishings PRIOR to our move, very wisely selecting items for us to bring to our new home. I have used decorators in several of my residences and vacation homes. When I moved into my current home, I didn't see the need to start from scratch, nor did I want to purchase new items. So, Janet stepped in to help me combine pieces from four different residences. In one afternoon, she directed my professional movers where to place furniture for the greatest advantage. She came up with novel way of using a wonderful coffee table I had given up on. 

Janet is a gifted decorator, and she's also a good listener and friend. She is interested in your ideas and respectful of your budget. From my association with Janet, the greatest compliment came from my mover, Larry. "She was easy to work with, courteous, and efficient, so my time was not wasted." Indeed, with Janet's help, my time and furniture were both put to the best use!

As a partner to Interior Design colleagues throughout South Florida for nearly 20 years, Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) welcomes this opportunity to support Janet Ruffolo. In recent years, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with Janet on several key projects that have led to increased visibility and future recognition of DCOTA's Designer-on-Call Program.                 

Additionally, Janet was instrumental in leading a partnering event between DCOTA and the Boca Raton Museum of Art. In this leadership role, Janet was responsible for soliciting contributions from DCOTA showrooms for a high profile auction event, and for coordinating the design concept with the museum exhibit in conjunction with the auction. Each of these assignments required diligence, diplomacy, design expertise, and a solid business acumen. I am pleased to report that the project's success was attributed to Janet and her mastery of these skills.

Having a long-standing career in the AE/ID industry, I have collaborated on many projects that were successfully completed by teaming with talented design professionals like Janet. She possesses the requisite skills for managing schedules, budgets, and construction. Her strategic thinking combined with her visual talent is a winning combination--and it is without hesitation that we support her.
