About Janet
Janet Ruffolo was born in Chicago and began her career as an Interior Designer there. In 1990 while vacationing in south Florida, she fell in love with the people and weather, and moved to Coral Gables. Janet joined the newly opened "Burdines Furniture Gallery Design Studio" and re-established her interior design career.
After nine amazing years of working with "Burdines," the company decided to close their Design Studio. Immediately following her leaving Burdines Janet opened her own company in 2001.
Janet partnered with the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) in Dania Beach, Florida as a designer on call and had a long-standing affiliation with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID ALLIED MEMBER). She was also certified as an Aging-in-Place specialist for those who want to live safely and independently in their own home.
Janet enjoys working with local Villagers, and in Lady lake, Weirsdale, Leesburg and Ocala areas.
