Janet Ruffolo was born in Chicago and began her schooling and career in the 1980's as an interior designer. Janet moved to Florida in 1991 to continue her design career with Burdines Furniture Galleries as one of their Interior designers. She proudly formed her design firm in 2001.
With over 30 years of design experience Janet's unique talent and reliability, along with her extensive resources has provided functional and beautiful looking residential designs that meets each clients individual style, whether that style is transitional, contemporary, traditional, coastal or minimalistic. Her design work consists of working with homeowners who are renovating, remodeling or building a new homes, color consulting and her company provides Hunter Douglas roller shades for homeowners, architects, builders and trade related professionals. Janet has partnered with Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) as a DOC designer, is a long standing ASID ALLIED Member with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is a CAPS certified Aging-In-Place specialist for consulting with homeowners staying in their home in their later stage of life, and is a member of the Pompano Beach Chamber. She also volunteers in her community by sitting as a member of the (CAB) Community Appearance Board, works with therapeutic horses and special needs children (Equine Assisted Therapy of South Florida), and when a local disasters occurs, Janet volunteers in affected areas by join with Samaritan Purse to bring the help, comfort, and the love of Jesus Christ. Janet and her company provides monthly contributions financially to charities that honors God and those who are less fortunate.
